Bringing You Loads of Love!!

Favorite Teddy Bear.... Saved!

As you may have read in a previous post I am doing a stamp inventory and getting rid of stamp sets that have not been used in a while unless they find a safe place on the stamping shelf. I think it is safe to say that this adorable bear has been saved for the time being. I purchased this set 2 years ago for a polyshrink class and haven't used him since then. I am not a fan of coloring and have never wanted to spend the time to do something with him.

In exploring one of my favorite galleries, www.splitcoaststampers.com , the other day I discovered a few cards that have been created using this bear. They were not colored, they had stamped the bear on colored cardstock instead... instantly I thought "now I can handle that". This card is not a case, simply inspired not to be colored.

The card was designed using sketch challenge #41. For more information about this sketch challenge please click here.

Card Details:
Stamps: Favorite Teddy Bear, Loads of Love, Aida Cloth
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Creamy Caramel, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, and Loves Me Designer Series Paper.
Other: Pretty in Pink brads, 1/4" Hole Punch, White Gel Pen

Tips: The pile of hearts in the wagon comes from the Loads of Love stamp set. I stamped one set in whisper white, pretty in pink and regal rose. The pretty in pink set is the base, I cut out several hearts from the white and regal rose and replaced them on the stack for a multicolored look.

Kyla, you crack me up!! You don't want to take the time to color in an image, but you'll cut things out, which to me takes twice as long!! Too funny!!!

Anyway...this is an adorable card, made with a set I've never really cared for much! Just love it, and all your recent projects!! (as always!)
