New Blog Candy..... Giga Scalloped Circle Punch

Blog Candy....Marvy Uchida Scalloped Circle Giga Punch!!

I ordered a set of the 3 scalloped punches through a website, they were out of stock like everyone else and happened to come across a set of 3 on eBay so I purchased them and my punches arrived yesterday. I decided to go with the Scalloped Circle Giga Punch instead of the square for the blog candy because they are used so much more than the square ones.

How do you win? Post a reply to this thread and mention your favorite card in my blog. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 23 @ 4:00 PM MST.

One favorite - that is a tough choice. I would say your Happy Heart card back on Jan 6th. I think that is when I first visited your blog and have been checking back regularly ever since.

I think one of my favorites is your "Furry Friends" card where you shredded the ribbon for the basket that you turned into a bucket - but all of your cards are super cute!!

Wow, I LOVED then and still do on November 17 "This is for you" that you made the snowflake card and the candy bar wrapper with the Like It A Latte set. BUT, I love the bunny cards you have been making with the new Bunny Hugs set. You have a great style with your cards. That's why I get your updates!

Can I pick two favorites? The layouts are very similar and both cards have just outside of monochromatic color combinations, but they have such different energy. I love that!

The first is Doodle That (March 6) and the second is Eat Cake (January 13).

Thanks so much for sharing, Kyla. I enjoy your work!

My absolute favorite is the "Because of You" from mid January 2007. The vertical one is the one I find most appealing because I love the apricot color breaking up the two different blues with the top paper being my very paper since it has the precious little flowers with the white center. My eye is immediately drawn to the center of the card in which the flowers just seem to pop out, along with the apricot ribbon & bow. The tag is perfect with it. In fact, everything about this card is right. I love it.

Hi Kyla, I just discovered your blog and was really loving your card with the color adjustments. The teal on the flowers really makes it pop. I was hoping to case this one for my class, giving you the credit for the design of course. I wanted to make a couple of changes as my class will feature the faux metal technique. So I have to work that in. Thanks for the great inspiration. I've been looking for the punch you have so happy you were able to find not only one for yourself, but one to share. Gail

Hi Kyla,

All your cards are gorgeous, but I'm quite partial to the one you made on Dec. 20 entitled 'Casing a Diva.' The colours are great and I love the unusual punched circle flowers. I think I'll have to try casing it, myself!

Keep the cards comin'! :)
