Heartfelt Sympathy

Heartfelt Sympathy
Images © 1990-2008 Stampin' Up!

Mom called today with an unexpected request... a sympathy card. These are my least favorite of all the occasions to send a card. I struggled with ribbon choices at first and then decided to dye the ribbons to match using two different applications.

Project Details
Stamp Set: Embrace Life, Close as a Memory
Cardstock: Groovy Guava, River Rock, Very Vanilla, Gingerblossom Designer Series Paper
Other: Vanilla Grosrain Ribbon (colored with Ruby Red marker), Ivory Organdy Ribbon (sponged with groovy guava classic ink), gold cording, May Arts Organdy Ribbon with gold edging, Gold Fabric Glitter Spray, Giga Circle and Scalloped Punches Marvy Uchida

Of course, the occasion for sending a sympathy card is sad; but it's also an opportunity to minister to someone in need of encouragement. Your card is nicely done and sure to bless...

Beautiful card. Yes, it is sad when there is an occasion like this but like Doris said, it is a way of ministering to the person in need. It is good to see you back.
